Surprise! She’s HOME! Living up to the promise of being better than average during rehab, doctors and PT determined that rehab on site was not necessary because she was doing miraculously well. She will have in home care for a while to help build up her strength. While we are extremely excited to have her home, we know mom will still have a long road back to full strength and continue to ask for your prayers.
Here’s a note from Dad: “Thank you all for all of your concerns and prayers during this very scary time in our lives. I am totally convinced that prayers are what brought my wife back to me. She will have a home health group checking on her for PT over the next several weeks. Beth does know the "whole" story about what happened on January 8, 2023 at 10:30am. And I thank God that she has no memory of any of those events. I hope you all understand my concerns for visitors for a while. We are both looking forward to return to church on her time schedule. I know I have said it before but we both love you all so very much. See you soon.”
***Beth was met at the driveway with strobing red lights by her heroes, the Landis firemen, that saved her life. Coincidentally, all three of them (Todd Bittle, Kevin Johnson, Ethan Yarborough) happened to be on duty again today. Sixteen days ago these firemen helped take her out of this house in a hurry, not knowing the future of her journey and today they helped walk her back into her house, a little slower and with lots of good conversations and reflection. We are all forever grateful to these men for there swift action that morning.
