Here we go again! Bert’s in the operating room for his seventh surgery in a little over three years. I am once again sitting in the waiting room with a new book on my Kindle. Masked, of course, and working hard to socially distance in a waiting room that needs more space. Was a rainy morning but we got here on time and should be back home by mid-afternoon.
Bert’s been working hard in physical therapy and walked 90 feet with a special “UP” walker this week. This surgery is to straighten his big toe and close a wound on the toe. He’ll be off his feet for a few weeks but will be anxious to get back to walking again.
