We are so blessed and want to take this opportunity on our last posting to say Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone!  No matter how small you felt your contribution was, it was HUGE to us.  Thank you to those who held us in your thoughts, they comforted us.  Thank you for those who prayed, it made our burden lighter.  Thank you to those who sent food, it helped not to have to think about cooking while so much was going on.  Thank you to those who came to work, offered to work, or thought about jobs you would do to lighten our loads.  Your help was monumental.  Thank you to everyone who came to the viewing, the service, the visitation and dinner and/or the commitment service, wow, we were overwhelmed.  Your love has sustained us and pulled us through this hard time.   Thank you so much for being there. 

This is the verse Bert had been working on memorizing at the time of his passing:

Joshua 24:15 
But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living.  But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.
