On Thursday, September 9, Bernie was in a motor vehicle accident. She sustained several injuries and was taken to HCMC. Her injuries include 8 broken ribs, a cracked sternum, a broken hand, a large cut on her left knee, and a small broken bone in her right foot. On Friday, September 10, she had surgery on her hand and put a boot on her foot. Bernie has a long road to recovery.

Bernadette was moved to rehab on Monday 9-13. After 2 days of boot camp she was ready for Al's home care!!!
Now after 24 hours I can see the difference. It's so nice to have her home!!!!!
