When you have a warm and beautiful winter in Minnesota you also welcome the longest never ending sickness too. In the past 24 hours we’ve had Berkley into the Emergency Department twice for a viral infection and double ear infection. The Doctor was pretty surprised by the test results when everything came back negative especially RSV. However, due to her low desaturation in the mid eighties while she’s sleeping we spent a restless night in the ER. We were supposed to be transferring out to Saint Cloud or to another facility but all the pediatric departments are full aka short staffed. We finally got moved up to the pediatric unit in Brainerd this afternoon. The plan is to monitor vitals and watch for signs of distress. We’ve been going on at least three weeks of illnesses in our family. Please pray that there is a stopping point to this craziness soon!
Just for an additional bonus! Berkeley is 10 month old adjusted 6.5. She is 16.16 lbs and 26 inches long. She is off preemie chart and is in the 22 percentile on 0-2 chart. She is hitting the average milestones for a 6 to 7 month old. She has two teeth and currently working hard on her third tooth.
