Tomorrow (June 3rd) is Benton's birthday!  It is a little over 6 weeks since Benton was discharged from the hospital.  He has been recuperating at home with Terry by his side.  Benton is getting stronger each day, takes walks in the neighborhood, and remains in good spirits.  Since his hospital discharge, he has been going into the University of Maryland Medical Center transplant clinic as an outpatient for check-ups, initially 3 times per week and now down to 2 times per week.  His blood counts show that his new transplanted donor marrow is working very well.  Quite an incredible journey!
