It has been a very busy week around the Wallace’s! Grandpa met with the ENT/ facial specialist on Tuesday which went well. The plan right now is to monitor the facial fracture. The Doctor did check his voice box and said there is a little swelling still, but it looks pretty good, and follow up in 6 weeks. Wednesday he spent time at his son Todd’s house while a new walk in shower was put in at his house, and then his son Benny took him for his CT scan of his face. Thursday was the big appointment with the neurosurgery team. They started with repeat X-rays and then we met with one of the providers. They said his back brace is working and his back is “stable” at this time, and follow up in 6 weeks. I think he is the best PT patient ever! He does all of his exercises they give him, and anything extra he can! The motivation to get back in his garage, and fishing will have him as good as new in no time.
