Hi Friends!


Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

This was originally shared on Facebook, because out of all my social media, it has the largest reach to people I actually know and care about:


I have an announcement and health update I feel I need to make for friends far and near. So this is a share and a health update/announcement.
At the beginning of May, after several months of not feeling well, I was diagnosed with a pretty serious, but common, cancer. I’m not going public with details of the cancer, but please reach out if you want to know more and we are close like that.

As a family, we’re staying positive and have a ton of support. Feel free to send all the good vibes, prayers, thoughts, or positive juju our way. It’s not going to be an easy road, but it is pretty well defined for now.

Celebration of Life This Weekend!

We are looking forward to seeing you all next Saturday for Beck’s celebration of life at The Wilderness Fitness and Coworking, located at 1010 West Lake St., Minneapolis, 1-4:30 pm.

Pro-Tip: The door can be easy to miss because the address is for the whole building which includes many businesses. You’re looking for this door with this sign above it (see the pictures ). We’ll have some balloons and probably a greeter to help you.

Please call Colleen at 651-235-2115 if you have any questions. She’ll have her phone with her on Saturday in case you get lost!

Parking: The Wilderness Fitness & Coworking doesn’t have a parking lot, but there is ample free street parking available nearby. A few easy options for free street parking include DuPont Ave S, Colfax Ave S, and W 29th Street. 

Please don’t park in the CVS parking lot. You might get towed and we’d hate that!
