Little update on Mom-
Since my last post here (it’s been a while, my apologies), quite a bit has taken place.
She has completed her 2nd and 3rd rounds of chemo therapy, and because she has had a few hiccups with certain scans and imaging ordered being denied by her insurance..
The Cancer Treatment Centers of America have reached out to her- offering to help out immensely with her cares.
After some thought and multiple phones calls, she has decided to give this a shot.
Mom will now continue her cancer treatment cares with the CTCA, based out of Chicago.
She took her first flight and trip out to Chicago on 6/27, had a full day of doctor appointments on 6/28, and is undergoing her final round of chemo therapy today 7/2 (same kind she has been receiving).
She will return to Chicago in two weeks to start a new form of chemo to initiate her second stage of chemo therapy.
Please keep her in your prayers as she is progressing in her chemo treatments and picking up a little extra travel time to and from her appointments.
We appreciate all the continued prayers, love and any donations received though all of her journey so far!
She’s a fighter!!
