Newest Update

Journal entry by R. Mantel Stone

The first update is about my latest CT scan. I have no evidence of metastatic cancer. My left lung is showing an odd fogginess again, so Dr. Richard would like a follow up scan in a year.

The second update is about recovering from the surgery.

Positives:
I now am on a full low fat diet, and I'm able to tolerate all complexities of foods!
I can go up and down the basement steps with ease.
I no longer have to wear the binder around my middle 24/7, just when I'm planning on being out of the house, and while I sleep.
I no longer rely on the narcotic pain medication for pain control, but still have it if I need it.

Negatives:
Still not ready to drive yet.
Still having to hold my stomach while I walk.
Still not comfortable in my clothes yet, so I'm wearing super huge shirts around the house.
Have developed a slight stutter, not sure what that is about.

Thanks for sticking it out with me!
Much Love,
Mantel
