Becca’s Glioblastoma Story:

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

In February of 2022, Becca suffered seizures and was misdiagnosed with encephalitis at that time. She was told she should improve in time and she attempted to rehabilitate and tried to return to work full-time in May. Unfortunately, she only got worse after returning to work for 2 months and in early July 2022, she was unable to walk and speak well. An emergency visit confirmed their worst nightmare that she had a ping pong ball size mass in her Left Temporal Lobe she underwent brain surgery on July 11, 2022, Brent and Becca’s 13th wedding anniversary. It was confirmed to be Glioblastoma Stage 4 Cancer. She is currently receiving chemo and radiation to keep the tumor from progressing. She will also be participating in a few trials also help prolong her recovery and her life as long as possible. She is a fighter and any prayers or donations will help her and her family while she is unable to work and to help navigate this difficult time.

Becca passed away peacefully and painlessly this morning around 5 AM. She was surrounded by family and friends throughout the evening.

Thank you to all who supported through kind words, meals, care, donations, and more. It takes a village, and we are so grateful for ours.
