I just want to thank everyone for their condolences. We have appreciated everything you all have done and continue to do. We are planning a memorial picnic this summer per my mom’s wishes. The funeral home emailed me today to tell me her ashes are ready to be picked up. It seems really strange to even think about that. Yesterday was Mother’s Day...we didn’t do much. I had a really rough day on Saturday...I think it was anticipating yesterday. My mom never really took the day for herself, so I think that almost made it easier. I spent most of the evening looking at old pictures of my mom and the rest of the family I think it was a healing thing for me. 

Anyway, I plan on letting everyone know the details of the picnic once they are figured out.
