Welcome to Barb's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.


On Tuesday, December 17, it was determined that our mom needed a liver transplant. She has been battling Primary Biliary Cirrhosis (PBC) for many years, but suddenly her medication was not doing its job. She has been placed at the top of the transplant list, so now we are just waiting for a donor match. We are so thankful that she is healthy enough to undergo this surgery. Please keep my mom and her husband Mike in your prayers. 
Molly and I will update this site as new updates come through.

January 26, 2020 - A Celebration of Life for Barb Slater

Please join us in celebrating mom’s life on Saturday, February 22nd at the Pine City American Legion (525 Main Street N., Pine City 55063), 11am - 3pm. 

We look forward to sharing stories about mom and celebrating what an amazing and beautiful person she was ❤️ in a relaxed setting.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
