Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.

Background story:
Barb had not been feeling well for a couple of months, experiencing shortness of breath, fatigue, and significant pain in her shoulder/back/arm. After several trips to the ER and multiple tests and hospital stays, a large mass was discovered in her chest wall. Following a biopsy, Barb received a devastating diagnosis of Stage 4 Carcinosarcoma, a rare form of cancer. She is currently receiving Hospice services at Lyngblomsten Care Center in St Paul.

Her children will be using this site to update her family and friends. She would so love to read your messages and words of encouragement. Thank you for your continued prayers!

I’m so happy we were finally able to have our Mom’s Celebration of Life yesterday.  It was an absolutely beautiful tribute to an amazing woman!  Many memories and wonderful stories were shared by her family and friends. We were so touched that so many people came to celebrate her and support us. Thank you for being there! I could feel Mom smiling down on all of us❤️
