I have been feeling sick lately. We traveled to Las Vegas on March 10,and then we went to Southern Illinois to see the Eclipse on April 7. My blood sugar has been running high 250-350. This makes me feel very lethargic and not "right". So I messaged my Endocrinologist and he increased my insulin and told me to follow up with my primary doctor to check for that infection. So I tried getting a hold of my doctor this week but apparently, my messages weren't getting through.  Well whatever. So I finally had a video visit with my doctor and had my blood drawn. She told me that my blood work was negative for infection, and that the reason for my high blood sugar is my chemotherapy drug ,Megace. She set me up with an Endocrinology appointment in 10 days. They will work with my insulin so I am able to stay on the Megace.
