Sign In to Show Your SupportAfter reflecting on yesterday I am overwhelmed by how beautiful and perfect the day was. I did, however, make an error. I apologize about mixing up mom’s graduation date! She was actually class of 1968 but attended reunions from other years as well. Sorry for that slip up!
We were honored to see and visit with so many people that were touched by Mom’s life. It was apparent how impactful Mom’s life was to so many.
There were so many highlights from the day. From seeing so many sweet faces at the visitation, to the service with a wonderful singing preacher who captured and reflected mom’s life perfectly, to the scenic drive to the cemetery with entertaining motorcycle escorts, respect of cars pulled over, and construction workers crossing their chests with their hard hats, to a freezing but sunny graveside. It was a serene day. We were surrounded with so much peace and love and the FLOWERS!! My goodness she was blessed with so many flowers and plants! Thank you all so very much for the visits, hugs, and encouraging support. We love all of you!
We are currently ironing out a few details to host a Celebration of Life for Mom soon. It was her wish that we throw a big party, put out pictures, and in her words “laugh at me all you want”
Stay tuned for the date, place, and time!
Thanks again for loving our amazing Mother!
