Newest Update

Journal entry by Aaron Schneider

Myah is 2 weeks old! She is still feisty and doing well overall. She has a death grip on her paci...and any other tube she can get her hands on (which is what got her into trouble in my belly). She is a pro at pulling out her oxygen and feeding tube. She continues to impress everyone everyday. This is one tough chick! She was tolerating her milk quite well, but is having to take a break from it due to some new medication she is on. She has a rather large PDA (an opening in her heart that is supposed to close after birth, but does not in some babies/premies). They did one round of treatment over the course of 3 days, but it didn't  close the PDA, so they are going to try another round. Praying it does the trick! Other than that, there is not much new to update. We are taking it day by day and praying she continues to do well. Again, thank you all so much for all the prayers and support. We could not do this without all of you! Thank you, thank you, thank you and please keep them coming <3.  Lisa’s Facebook update above. Myah was moved from room 43 to room 33 so we could have windows. During week two LeAnn became Myah’s primary nurse and it was a huge blessing as she always had Myah’s needs as a priority. Lisa and I also began our split weeks as I went home with the boys on Sunday, April 15th.
