Last night about 3am Jensen had a cluster of seizures and was working pretty hard to breathe along with a bit of a fever so we made the decision to bring him in. We have been battling seizures for quite a while now but we knew something else was going on this time. Grand Itasca almost immediately decided it was respiratory in nature and life flighted Jensen to Duluth for higher care. Labs and x-rays showed basically he got the common cold and it turned to pneumonia in one of his lungs. He is currently on heated high flow nasal cannula support and multiple therapy treatments to help clear the junk from his lungs. Hopefully he stays stable and this will be a short stay.
