James’s Story

By God's grace, we found out unexpectedly that James has a condition called severe obstructive sleep apnea. When he falls asleep or is very relaxed, he has episodes where he stops breathing. He is currently on oxygen and will need to continue to be on oxygen for an undetermined period of time. We are using this website to keep friends and family updated on his condition.

He Passed!

This past week we had a follow up appointment for his sleep study. We received the great news that he did "spectacular" and he does not need his oxygen anymore! According to the doctor, he went from having about 25 events an hour to 2 events an hour, which she said is normal for his age. She explained that his airway just needed to grow, which it did! This also means that he will not need surgery. Thanks be to God for James being healed, and his superb growth! Thank you all for your prayers as we know this attributed to the good news today.
