Hi everyone,
This is the update we have prayed for.  Dawson saw his cardiologist.  The tumor is shrinking and is becoming less defined on the echo and his EKG continues to show a normal heart rhythm.  The heart is functioning with no disturbance of blood flow and the heart muscle is contracting beautifully.  The cardiologist is optimistic to continue to see this trend.  He does not want invasive testing for diagnostic purposes due to unnecessary risk since he is developing on target and genetic testing has all been negative.  He is going to spread out our visits so we do not go back until Dawson is a year (he is 6 months now).  We are elated!  
Dawson's story started awfully scary and over time we were blessed to have positive report and change continuously and pray for this to continue.  God blessed us with this continued positive news and continued support from all of you.  
Many mothers and fathers with scary stories like Dawsons do not get to keep having this great news.  I thank sites like caring bridge to provide a way for others to communicate they care and are empathetic to these families.     

I will keep updating this site as Dawson follows up with his physicians:)
