This is one of the promises we've been given from God that we are so tightly clinging to. 
It's this picture. And the prophetic word that came along with it.

On December 9th at my women's group, we were all taking turns praying for each other in a big group. When it was my turn to receive prayer, many of my friends were giving me words and pictures they were seeing from the Lord. In my heart (none of them knew I was pregnant), I knew that I could relate them all to my baby. (This was very recently after I found out I was pregnant. I found out on Nov 25th, so this was 2 weeks later!)

I wasn't going to tell any of them at that time (even though the words were so encouraging for the current season I was in), until my friend, Sarah, gave me a word SO PERFECT that I couldn't hold in the secret anymore! She said, "I saw these pink balloons and dandelions. And you're at a birthday party. I don't know if that's your birthday party or who's that is but it's in the summer, late summer. August maybe? There are tons of pink balloons and dandelions. I don't know if that means anything to you but that's what I saw." 

DOES THAT MEAN ANYTHING TO ME?! YES YES YES! Baby Halvorson is due at the very end of July, and my original due date I calculated was the first week of August. SO HOW RIGHT ON IS THAT?! That is why we so strongly have believed this baby is a girl from the very start. We believe that was God's gender reveal party to us. When Sarah gave me that word, a lot of them started to think "Oh, is there a baby girl coming in the summer?!"

I told everyone I was pregnant shortly after, and they all were ecstatic and amazed at what God just revealed! Sarah was kind enough to paint the vision she saw and give it to us, so we can daily look at it and be reminded of God's plan. (See picture)

That vision was God giving us a promise that we didn't know until now how important that word would be to us. That was God revealing His faithfulness and plan for our baby. 

We WILL celebrate our baby's birthday this summer (full-term!), and you betcha we are gonna have a ton of pink balloons!! And we hope you will come and celebrate our miracle baby with us, too! 

Also look out for this vision coming to life - we are gonna find a field with dandelions and bring pink balloons and take a picture of our baby surrounded by this promise from the Lord.
