Will got to wear his first outfit today! It is such a big milestone for him and such a big emotional milestone for me and Morgan. Seeing him in a cute pair of pajamas does our hearts good.
The clothes come with another big milestone - he will be moved out of his isolette and into a big boy open crib tomorrow! This means that he is regulating his temperature well enough to not need a constant heat source. Regulating body temperature without losing weight is a milestone he needs to hit before he goes home, so we’d love to get this one checked off of the list.
Will is still on continuous feeding, but is gaining weight steadily - he’s up OVER 4 POUNDS now! They will try to take him off of the continuous drip again on Monday. Fingers crossed he’ll get to go off of it and we can start the process of getting him to breast/bottle feed. 🤞🏻
We’re so proud of all of the milestones our little guy is hitting and are looking forward to the ones to come!
