Update time!!! Gage has another MRI today. This is the forth one so far this year with many more in the future. Everyone here now recognizes him, whether due to frequency or his award winning personallity, who knows? Waking up from anethisia has been rough (like waking a bear mid hibernation) but we are trying something new today and hopefully it goings better. We followup with oncology and neurology later this week and early next week to see the results of today's scans and see what the future may hold for us.

As far as symptoms go things are becoming more clear. The visual disturbansances are still there and he still gets headaches but we haven't had a migraine since August. Unfortunately, we are now able to identify little quirks that are more likely tumor related v. Gage just being Gage. He has started do physical therapy and occupational therapy to build and retain his abilities.

None of this is holding him back. He has a strong bond with a couple kids in his class and he has started swing dance class. Pokemon is still a favorite, though Minecraft is vying for the top spot. He complains about his chores and sister, loves his dog and candy.

I am working again. I work with CSL Plasma as a management trainee. I am loving every minute of it. It is definitely different than transfulable blood collection but I love that I am in the industry I am so passionate about and I love the opportunity this postion is giving us. I also finished my BS in Business Management and have been accepted into a Masters program for Instructional Design.

Gatlynn is... Gatlynn. She broke her arm a few weeks ago by jumping off the bunkbed ladder. She loves dressup, nail polish, and with the introduction of Disney+ she has discovered Hannah Montana.

All in all we are okay. Taking life day by day. This diagnosis will not run our lives. Scan days are days for me to stare this thing down and remind myself and Gage we are bigger, better, and stronger. It still scares the hell out of me but I know that whatever happens we will be able to take care of it.
