Ava’s Story

Site created on February 8, 2024

Hi Friends & Family, We’ve started this page to make sure all of Ava’s favorite people have one place to go for updates, as she works with her medical team to kick cancer’s butt. 💪🏻 As you can imagine, it can get overwhelming to give the same update multiple times. Thank you for loving and supporting her! ❤️

Ava was diagnosed in February, 2024 with invasive ductal carcinoma (estrogen+, progesterone+, HER2-) meaning this is a type of hormonal cancer. The survival rates are in the 90%, which is wonderful news! But, there is still a way's to go. As Ava goes through chemotherapy, surgery, and possible radiation treatment she will need as much financial assistance as we (her community) can provide. Journal entry by Chelsi Moyle

A few words from Ava this morning:

Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you know that I am feeling more like myself today. My first infusion was rough but I got through it. Thank you for checking in on me and showing love.
