Autumn’s Story

Site created on November 27, 2023

Hey everyone! I will be using this journal-like platform to keep family and friends updated on my journey in one place. It’s easier for me to just write (type) it out. I appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Journal entry by Autumn Arnold

I had my post op appointment today and I was emotional. Dr. Neskey said I’m crushing recovery but he also reminded me that I’m different than I was before and this is something that will be apart of me for the rest of my life (being in and out of doctor offices). He said everything looks good. The infection in my arm looks better. He is ordering a swallow X-ray, speech therapy, and physical therapy. I go back in three months for a follow up with him and will continue every three months with him. My mental health has always been trash but prayers now for it is needed more now than ever because today I finally broke. Thank yall for the continuous support and love.
