Journal entry by Sarah Zambarano —
With great sadness, I am sharing that Austyn gained his wings this morning. He was surrounded by his beautiful family - loved beyond belief. The family asks for privacy and no visitors at this time as they process this loss. Arrangements are pending for services later next week. Austyn was a fighter - he got through all of his chemo rounds, got his diploma, and celebrated his 18th birthday in the last days. He let us know he loves us all. For everyone who has helped and sent love and prayers - thank you so much - you've made this journey easier. For those looking for something still to do, you can continue to donate and we will use those funds toward his services. And for everyone - do something charitable and spread some love in the name of Austyn. His big heart will be his legacy. We carry his love with us as we walk through the world each day. With gratitude, Sarah
