Journal entry by Colleen Solors

Merry Christmas to each of you and your families.  Today is 6 months since Austin had his accident.  We are so grateful this Christmas that he is with us and doing great.  He returned to work in September for a few weeks and that has come to and end.  It was a seasonal position so he got in on a few jobs to wind up his time there.  He absolutely loved the job and is now in the process of job hunting.  Austin does have some follow up on some issues with his ear since the accident.  He saw his ENT and there is fluid in the inner ear.  He had a CT scan to determine if it is just fluid that can be drained or if it could be spinal fluid that is there from the initial head injury.  We will find out those results next week.  Hoping and praying it just some fluid that can simply be drained.  Thank you all for your continued prayers and the love that you have shared with us.

Rejoice for a King is born.  May the peace, the hope, and the peace of His love fill your heart this Christmas and always.

May your Christmas with family be extra special.  As a friend from church said to me last week “ You will have a Merry Christmas this year” and that we will.

All our love.
Dave, Colleen and Austin
