Austin ’s Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. A little background on Austin. Austin was born early at only 28.6 weeks we give him the day and just call it 29 weeks.  He was born on March 22, 2019 at 9:40 AM, by emergency c-section at UC Hospital. He weighed 3.8 pounds and was 16 inches long. He was admitted in to the NICU at UC Medical Center. On March 29, 2019 we found out that Austin had devloped a grade 4 brain bleed on each side of his brain; he was then transferred to Cincinnati Children's  NICU and is expected to be here until June. Please feel free to look around our page and look for updates on Austin!

Hello all,
what a year 2019.We are excited to say that Austin is coming up on the big 1!! He has been doing great he is improving each and everyday and we and the therapist and doctors are amazed at how far he has came!! Attached are a collection of photos for those of you to see some recent ones!!
