Journal entry by Ashley Ward —
It has been a while since I have updated! Life is busy with three, school, sports and managing life in itself.
Hadley went to the cardiologist in November and not much has change! Our doc was hoping to get an Echo but Hadley had other ideas. She is not so still these days and stranger danger is in full force. So back we go at 15 months to complete an Echo just to see status of her ❤️.
This week has been a particularly rough week as Hadley experienced what we now know was the stomach bug. But it led this momma to the ER at 1030 at night (thanks to my bestie for coming to the house and staying until 2 in the morning with my boys). After the 6 hour of her throwing up my nerves got a hold of me and I was panicked. But as our surgeon said always “better safe than sorry!” The bug took down my husband, Hagan and my mother in law. Harrison and I were the lucky ones, so far anyways 😜
Which led us to Thursday, X-ray day and to see our hero! All news is good news, Hadley’s X-rays were clear 🙌Praise the lord. We are watching her closely as she has somewhat of an asymmetrical curve on the left side. This will be monitored closely and if needed we will be referred to an ortho doc. She has to give us some kind of worry!
We will go again to get X-rays in April! Wow she will be one year old amazing!!!!
Quick facts about Miss Had; loves her brothers and says “Bub,” super attached to momma and let’s that be known with her “Mama,” crawling and no toy is off limits, has a sweet little laugh and cackle, got to meet one of her great grandmothers over Thanksgiving and still has one of the best smiles!
We are looking forward to our first christmas with our sweet girl! We hope everyone has a blessed holiday season.
God is good all the time God is good!
