Sorry for not updating this more often!
Life has been full of twists and turns living with cancer but God is taking care of each step!

Allergic reactions unfortunately started after round 3 and round 4 of chemo with lots of rashes/whelps. Nothing that a couple packs of steroids can’t handle though! These two rounds were also my “sickest”.  Keep scrolling if you have a weak stomach.  I was either in bed or hugging the toilet. Chris was so great throughout the whole time and luckily we were able to joke and say “well at least you didn’t have to hold my hair back” since I have none! We have to laugh when we can!

Exciting news…. I completed my LAST chemo therapy on 2/29/24! A “leap year” day I’ll never forget! I got to ring the bell and even “broke” the rope LOL! Chris had to tie it back for me. They said it happens all the time (maybe they need a new rope!)

I had my follow up ultrasound with my surgeon on 3/1/24 and my tumor is down to 2cm so he will do a lumpectomy and include a biopsy of my lymph nodes. Surgery was supposed to be 3/25/24 but my surgeon had to move it to 3/27/24.

Now my plan is to let my body rest and heal after surgery and before radiation starts. The current plan will be 3 weeks of radiation 5x a week.

We are so incredibly thankful for all of the support, love, and prayers. More details/pics to come later from my journey but for now please just pray for a successful surgery tomorrow! ❤️
