On January 26, I'm going to be participating in The Big Climb Dallas -- a wonderful fundraiser for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society along with several members of my Akin Gump family.
As part of the fundraiser, we will be climbing the stairs of The Bank of America Building - the tallest building in Dallas - a total of 70 floors. At this time last year, I couldn't even make it up the one flight of stairs in my house, so to me, it is a privilege and an honor that I am even able to attempt this feat. And I couldn't ask for more than the people who are supporting the LLS and me by climbing with me!
We are raising money for LLS, which goes to fund blood cancer research and ensure that blood cancer patients are able to afford and receive life-saving treatments.
