“Asaiah has been a champion at getting through the last month.  The last couple weeks have been a roller coaster though as his body recovers from a hard round of chemo.  He doesn’t have much appetite and nausea stayed with us too long after meds had ended.  He had a couple weeks off to let his body recover and we all appreciated the rest.  Then He needed blood transfusion last week and now back in ER over the weekend with fever.  Today we were sent back to Sioux Falls for fluids and to double check all labs as he continues to fight this fever.  He is supposed to start the next round of chemo on Friday, if he can recover from whatever he is fighting within the next day or two.
We are tired and worn, but we know our God is before us and beside us and all around.”
