Newest Update

Journal entry by Marissa Gonzalez

Day 156 - Just wanted to give an update on this last month.. 😬 Chemo cycle 5 went as smooth as to be expected. We had 8 hour chemo days, and Arya was more nauseous this time and needing extra anti-nausea meds. It took about a week and a half for her to get back to normal, healing from the surgery and recovering from chemo really took a toll and she spent a lot of the time laying down watching her iPad. After she started feeling better she was like a tree in spring time, just blooming!! Still not walking yet, but getting closer and closer. Just need to get her confidence up about doing it on her own.  We have a busy week next week. July 27th we go to SF for a 5 hour kidney test, July 29th we have a 4 hour hearing test and bone marrow aspiration, and July 30th we have the 4 hour CT & MIBG scans (hopefully she’ll be NED - no evidence of disease 🤞🏼) August 3rd we start our 3 MONTH (😭) San Francisco stay for the tandem stem cell transplant/chemo procedures.

Thank you for the prayer, love and support!! 💛
