Dad had his second surgery on Sunday to remove the temporary filter and put in the permanent one. Surgery went off without a hitch. Dad got transitioned over from IV blood thinner to a pill form yesterday.
Today dad was accepted into Bethany on the Lake for some rehab to build up strength. He has some dizzy spells and is pretty weak. Not sure how long he’ll be there.
Next week he has a follow up with his oncologist and a repeat MRI. Fingers crossed there aren’t any changes.
