Arlene had a full hysterectomy yesterday to remove her uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes and cervix. After surgery, her doctor reported that there is no visible disease right now and they were able to get everything laparoscopically! This is the best news that we could have received!! Arlene was discharged from the hospital after surgery and is now managing  her recovery at home. There were many sighs of relief, tears and gratitude yesterday when we heard this news! 🎉🙏🏽👏🏽

We are so grateful that Arlene’s body has responded so well to chemotherapy to fight the cancer and we are SO proud of Arlene for enduring the grueling chemotherapy treatments.

She will have a follow up appointment to determine what the next steps are in this journey.
