Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
Arland was diagnosed in April with Multiple Myeloma.  Since then he has been undergoing Chemotherapy throughout the summer.  The Dr's have decided it is the "perfect" time to start the process of a Stem Cell Transplant.  We will be heading down to the U of Nebraska on Thursday Sept 20 to start this process. All the pretests have come back very positive so it is time to go ahead with the transplant.  
We will try to keep this updated daily on the progress.  Thanks for all the prayers and support shown to us!!! Love to you all!!!

Well dad has been home for a week and doing very well. His counts have continued to stay up and very good! He has had some really good days and some down days. But very happy to be home! He has to have someone with him during the day so Aunt Grace has been down helping on the days mom and I are working.
We can't thank you all enough for the thoughts and prayers! We could not have made it this far with out all of you!
