Daddy is Home!!
Yesterday my Love rang the bell loud after he completed his 33rd brain radiation treatment. I’m sad that I wasn’t able to be there with him for support and to share the moment, but I also understand why Moffitt has to take the necessary precautions to keep all patients and staff safe!!
They started weaning Tony’s steroid dose last week, however he started to “feel weird” again and developed some different side effects from the radiation. So, his steroid dose was increased back to 8mg daily.
NIH canceled us flying up for post radiation follow up in May due to Covid. We return to Moffitt May 20th for follow up MRI and chemotherapy treatment plan. Until then, we have a lot of virtual Dr appts with our medical team here in Brevard.
There are a lot of adjustments to be made around the house, especially getting Daddy used to the new Wyatt and Rex rules.
Sorry I haven’t been updating as much as I would have liked! I’ve been practicing electronics distancing 😉 while keeping Wyatt and Rex entertained.
