I will not die; instead I will live to tell what the Lord has done. -Psalm 118:17

We have created this site to keep you updated on Ann Wind and her breast cancer diagnosis. Please feel free to e-mail me at ericwind@gmail.com. Thank you so much for your prayers, love, and support!

On Friday, November 5, Ann Wind was diagnosed with breast cancer. We appreciate your prayers and support. Please feel free to send my mom letters or e-mails, but know that she may not be able to respond.

My mom is being inundated with a lot of love and support, which is great, but we want to make sure that she is able to be rested and in good health.

If you have any specific questions, please feel free to e-mail me at ericwind@gmail.com. Thank you so much for your prayers, love, and support!

Romans 15:13

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

I have much to be grateful for and I continue to Celebrate what God has done!  I have completed my OT therapy and the lymphedema is soooo much better and rarely bothers me now!  Hallelujah!! 🙌🏼  I can literally raise my hands and Praise God!
I don’t have to have chemo or radiation!  Hallelujah!!  I am just taking a pill every day to reduce estrogen in my body, and I haven’t noticed any bad side effects from that.

I finally got the results of my genetic testing.  This involved a lengthy online family health history, an interview with a genetic specialist, and a special blood test based on the information that I provided.  They tested for 77 genes and possible mutations and I don’t have ANY of those!  Another Hallelujah!  This means the cancer that I have had was not of a genetic origin and I don’t have to worry about passing it on to my children and grandchildren.  Good News, indeed!

Two weeks ago, I woke up with a raised, itchy, tingly and red rash on my side.  I decided to go to Urgent Care in case it was shingles.  I know that it’s important to get treatment early for shingles.  The NP that examined me thought it was shingles and gave me an Rx anti-viral to start right away.
I had some friends and family members pray and Mike and I prayed and took Communion.  The rash began to fade.  The next day I saw my primary physician for an annual check up and it had faded to a light pink patch.  He thought it was shingles that had reversed!  By the next day, Mike and I couldn’t see anything there!!  Completely gone!  Hallelujah!!  I know many people who have suffered greatly from shingles and I am so grateful that prayers and meds took it away quickly!!!

We are “back in the saddle” again doing ministry.  Mike and I and our Beach & Park Outreach Team quickly organized a National Day of Prayer gathering in downtown Manitowoc, when we realized that the churches hadn’t planned anything.  ( We the People did). It was powerful!

Next week our Beach & Park Outreach Team will begin ministry in Washington Park and then as weather permits we will have a prayer team at the Lakefront.  We’re hoping to have some music outreaches this summer, too.

May you all be filled afresh with Joy, Peace, and Hope to overflow to others 🙌🏼🔥♥️!
With  L♥️VE and thanks to you all,
Ann 🥰
