From Ann:
“On my way to UW for my 6 week check up. Wow has it really been 6 weeks! God is so good! Prayers for today that my numbers look good and that I handle the stent removal ok. I’m a little freaked about the fact that they remove it from my bladder with me awake!!
Yesterday was National Donor Day and turned out to be the most fun I’ve had in awhile. Megume drove me to WLC where I surprised many of my peeps with homemade cookies and candy for Valentines Day. It was so great to see the ones I got to. Next time I’ll try to see everyone. So sad I didn’t take any pictures!!
Then we took Cindy, my kidney sis, to lunch to celebrate Donor Day. It was awesome! Love her so much and can’t thank God enough for her. Can’t wait to spend many more years with her! Most of the pictures are of lunch with her and some of my girls and the boys!
The finale of the day was getting to stop at Davita Dialysis Center and thank all of the people who helped bridge time for me until the transplant. And the best part was I got to drop off my dialysis machine. Thing of the past!!!
I felt so blessed yesterday and so happy to be out and about. However, there is one picture of Kazu and I chilling in the couch. The day wiped us out but sure was a great day!!!
Thanks for all the love you sent to Cindy on Facebook.”
