This is the obituary I wrote for Ann.

Ann Elizabeth Noble, 51, passed away December 10, 2019 after living with kidney cancer for almost two years.  Ann was born March 16, 1968 in Washington, DC to John and Carol (Souder) Noble. Ann graduated from Rockville High School in Rockville, MD, in 1986.  She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in sociology with a minor in art from Wagner College on Staten Island, NY, in 1990.  She later earned a master's degree in art therapy from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, in 1995.  Shortly after completing her education, she moved to Colorado, where she lived in Boulder for seven years, Fort Collins for one year, and Longmont for 16 years.

Ann's friends in her adult years may be surprised to find out that she was an extreme introvert as a child.  She sometimes had a friend speak for her when she felt uncomfortable speaking for herself.  As she grew more confident, Ann became a gatherer of people, and made friends easily.  Perhaps because of her experience as a child, she had a way of making people feel welcome when they were uncomfortable.  She was kind, inviting, empathetic, and fun.

Ann loved to travel.  She travelled through Europe on weekends and breaks from school while doing a semester abroad in Bregenz, Austria.  Later, she and a close friend spent many weeks travelling through the western United States and camping in national parks.  It was this trip that inspired Ann to move to Colorado without a job or any specific plans.  When she moved to Colorado and started a family, the family travelled extensively in the United States and Canada, and once visited Trinidad and Tobago.

When Ann moved to Boulder in 1995, she met her husband, Eric Eiseman, who had also moved to Boulder without a job or a plan.  Although the two immediately felt a deep connection, they didn't start dating for nearly two years.  After dating for five years, the couple married  on July 6, 2002, in Boyds, MD.  In 2005 and 2007, their sons Calvin and Max were born, and raising their children became the focus of their lives.

Ann was active in the Longmont community in a number of ways.  She had a private art therapy practice, facilitated programs at the Firehouse Art Center, and taught art classes at the Main Street School.  She played tennis in local adult leagues, and taught tennis lessons for the Longmont Recreation Center.  When tennis became too hard on her body, she played pickleball, and became part of the local pickleball community.  She was active as a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir.  She kept herself fit and connected with other fitness-conscious women at Fit Chick Express.  Finally, she enjoyed being a parent and connecting with other families at her kids' sporting events and other functions.

Ann is survived by her husband Eric, two sons Calvin and Max, her parents John and Carol, brother Tim Noble, and his wife Wendy Ouellette.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 pm Friday December 20, 2019 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory. Memorial contributions can be made to KCCure for kidney cancer research (kccure.org) or Domus Pacis Family Respite (domuspacis.org).  Share condolences at www.ahlbergfuneralchapel.com.
