Site created on March 29, 2022

Backstory:

In 2013 Ann had a growth removed from her right jaw that was positive for squamous cell carcinoma, a type of skin cancer that can be found in any part of the body that skin cells are present. No complications and no further treatment was needed.

Fast forward to September 2021, when Ann noticed another sore on the right side. October 2021 this was removed. At that time the biopsy and PET scans showed that no further treatment was needed.

Mid-February 2022: Ann went back to the ENT noting a growth on her left side neck. This was removed March 7th 2022.

March 18, 2022: Biopsy results returned positive for metastatic squamous cell carcinoma.
