Dear Friends,
It has been 5 years this month since I discovered cancer was in my lungs and liver.  In that time I have had traditional chemo and then for the last two years, I have been blessed with a clinical trial drug that has allowed me to live life as if there was no cancer doing its thing inside.  But now a new mutation has been discovered and a new plan of treatment is being worked out.  The weird thing about cancer is that it sneaks around inside, hiding until for many it is too late to treat.  For me the miracle of CT’s etc. and modern medicine have kept a watchful eye.  I feel fine. Still going to CrossFit (for elders) and living life with family and friends as if nothing was going on.  These last 6 months the family has been focused on our Grandson Nicholas who was diagnosed with AML leukemia.  He is at the end of his treatment now and hopeful and prayerful that the cancer has been defeated.  The prayers of so many for his treatment and recovery have been overwhelming.  Filled with love and kindness.  I know that many have kept me in prayer over these last years too, and I am forever grateful.  Prayers matter.  And so,   I ask once again for your prayers that my doctors will be giving wisdom in the choice of treatment and that the Lord will continue to provide courage and comfort.  Love and prayers to you all. Ann
