Stage 3 T4 N2 rectal cancer
.At oncologist yesterday,
4 months. at least just Chemo, then 2 months Radiation with chemo pills. Testing the whole time to see if tumor shrunk. . If it does then I have surgery to remove it with reconstruction. I also will have colostomy bag 😭 . The tumor is not in a good place and too large to have surgery to remove it now.. Another Covid test today , radiation Dr on Friday. . Tuesday teaching nurses I see at cancer center. Wednesday I have the Port put in in Altamonte Springs hospital. Then I start Chemo infusion. They already have me on a 12 hr pain medication . I am so depressed So I have this week and weekend to get out and get stuff done. Once I start chemo I am quarantined.
