John and Anne’s Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.  My dear wife is in the battle of her life. I am so proud of her and the way she continues to keep her eyes focused on God and her hope in His grace. Her only prayer is that He will sustain her during the severe pain she is living through and ultimately that His will be done,  It is through your prayers, words of hope and encouragement that can keep Anne's own hope alive. In the meantime, John has his own story blended into the quilt. Read more on the journal as I am attempting to update as I am able to recover from a fall in her hospital room and subsequent unfolding of events.

By the way, you will sometimes see our dear friend and sister in Christ, Judy Berkness, post some updates along the way. We are so very grateful for this.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

Praise item: Anne's wound site is 100% closed up. There now remains the final scar spots to blend in to the current healthy skin and we must be vigilant about keeping the site clean and dry.

In the meantime, please pray for healing with her flare-ups of nausea and vomiting, cold -hot extremes as well as pain.

John will be having an x-ray followed by a consult with his surgeon later this month.  We rescheduled from previously  weeks later due to the extreme pain going on.
