Hello friends of Annie B,

I hope you all are doing well and are finding ways to mourn and celebrate the life of our dear Annie.  We had a wonderful memorial gathering in Pt Reyes on September 29th, what would have been Annie's 70th birthday. Just as she requested, we spread her ashes in Tomales Bay at a park where she often  walked with Millie and various dogs and humans, and we planted a small birch grove in her honor with her ashes sprinkled in with the rich soil. It will be known as "Annie's Grove" and you are all welcome to come visit!!

Annie's family and friends in San Francisco are now planning to designate a bench as "Annie's Bench" on Bernal Hill in SF.  I’m sharing this link to a year-end Gofundme campaign that Roger has organized to raise the funds needed to honor her in this special way. The San Francisco Parks Alliance has approved placing a plaque on a bench near the Folsom Gate to honor and remember Annie who lived on the hill and walked her dogs there for decades. Her plaque will read:

ANNIE BORGENICHT

9/29/1951 – 8/20/2021

Beloved Bernal neighbor

Forever loved and missed

We hope you will take a look at the fundraiser here:  https://gofund.me/3a674d5d  and help spread the word. Donations of any amount are much appreciated!

Best wishes to all,

Helen
