Ann’s Story

Site created on July 25, 2018

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Annie was recently admitted to the ER, and the Memorial Hospital in Worcester, MA after a recent fall at home. During CT and MRI scans it was discovered she has Stage 4 poorly differentiated  Adeno Carcinoma/cancer.   A huge shock to her and to family and friends.  Unfortunately the cancer has metastasized and she has a tough battle ahead over the next 6 months. She has begun full brain radiation treatments for a 2 week duration. She is currently at Beaumont Rehab Center in Worcester, MA, though recently had a setback (Sepsis/UTI and
pneumonia in her left lung) that put her in the ICU at UMass University Hospital for 4 days. Now back at Beaumont Rehab center,  Room 423, as of last night (Tuesday).
Annie is very scared and often gets very lonely. She would love all thoughts and prayers!!  She would really love visits from family and friends!  And phone calls, cards, etc would be more than appreciated.
Send cards to her home address at: 125 Linden Street, Boylston, MA 01505.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS:  We are organizing a birthday celebration for her on her 68th birthday on August 4th at Beaumont. Keep checking back on this site for more details, but planning to have friends and family stop by to wish her a happy birthday any time between 10 am and 4 pm.
Thank you for your caring!  Love to all, her sister Ina
