Journal entry by Kate Kennedy —
Anna went to Indy to finally get to the stage of the wound graft on her knee and muscle pull over the patella. The surgeons are hopeful that it was successful but she has a lot of pain. There will be many trips to Indianapolis for follow up. We are hoping we don't have to have a re-do on this surgery. It was quite traumatic. If this is a successful step in her healing, the family is on to the next stage for prosthetic fitting for her legs! Anna is in good spirits and in great company with her beautiful brothers and parents and friends (you know who you are!) She also has a very cute chinchilla and cats that she loves dearly. Many thanks to Susan Richter for planting flowers in the pots and yard last week!! We love you!!! Delusions of Granger put on a GREAT show at LagLab’s fundraiser. Many many thanks to everyone who showed up. Anna’s parents are working hard and appreciate all of your contributions and gestures of love. Both sides of the Norquist and Kennedy families are overwhelmed with everyone’s support. Thank YOU!
