Anita’s Story

On Monday afternoon, August 24, Anita suffered a heart attack. With good judgement, she called 911 and got help rapidly. She was taken to Glenbrook Hospital and the cardiac team put a stint in a closed artery. Anita was then transported to Evanston Hospital that night. On Wednesday, August 26, Anita had stints put in two more arteries. Since then, she has had ups and downs on her road to recovery. She is at Evanston Hospital in the ICU. We are optimistic that she will recover, but remain vigilant as she has had some complications along the way. We will keep you updated on this site.
