This Sunday, July 7, CDR has organized an estate sale at Anita's house, 8a.m. - 5 p.m.  Her address is 1122 W. 11.  I imagine most people will end up parking on Van Buren.  Rather than price each item, shoppers will select what they'd like (helping to clear out Anita's house) and then write a check (or give cash) for a donation to CDR, being generous as this is an organization Anita helped found.  There are arm chairs, lots of art, dishes and glass and pots and pans, many size 7 1/2 shoes and size medium tops, plus much much more.
One of Anita's neighbors has been doing the garden weeding and would love some help.  She is Barbara, barboylan@yahoo.com if you can help out.
After the sale, CDR will contact the Mission or St. Vinnie's to help clean out the house, we will make a few repairs, and hope to put the house on the market by August 1.  If you know anyone who might be interested in a lovely 4 bedroom, 1 bathroom house with a fantastic garden, let me know (marthacevans@hotmail.com).  Best to you all.  Martha
