Newest Update

Journal entry by Morgan Sexe

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our mother, wife, daughter, and friend, Angie Callahan.  She passed away peacefully early this morning on November 29th, surrounded by her family.  We are so relieved that her passing was peaceful and that she spent her remaining time with her closest loved ones.

Our family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff of Kindred Hospice Care for the amazing care they provided for our family and for our mother during this difficult time.

Our family is beyond grateful for the outpouring love, support, and prayers we have received over the last year. Angie's greatest joy in life was to serve others and to provide endless love to her friends and family.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 2nd from 2:00 - 5:00 pm at Woodbury United Methodist Church, Angie's home church, 7465 Steepleview Rd, Woodbury, MN, 55125.  A celebration of Angie's life will be held on Monday, December 3rd at 11:00 am at the same location.  A short luncheon will be held directly following the service on Monday.

In Lieu of flowers and in honor of Angie, donations can be made to Pullman Elementary School, in St. Paul Park, MN.  A donation basket will be placed at the visitation and funeral.  If you are unable to attend, checks can be made out to Pullman Elementary and sent directly to our home, 8186 Enclave Road in Woodbury, MN.  Angie was very passionate about her work and commitment to her students at Pullman.  Pullman Elementary is a true neighborhood school serving students who come from backgrounds where families have struggled financially to provide the essentials to help ensure success.  Donations made will help students financially by providing the needed clothing, supplies, snacks, and field trip monies while they are at school.

Angie we love you so much and always will.  We find so much comfort and strength knowing you are in a better place.  Even though it pains us so deeply to see you end your life here, we are thankful to know you are no longer suffering.  Our family has a long journey ahead of us, and all we can ask is for peace and continued strength to get through each day.  We ask for your continued support and prayers.

Isaiah 41:10

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

You will always be the "sunshine" in our hearts <3

With all of our love,

Your family <3
